My Experience
Who is Michael Bett?
I thrive in a complex and challenging environment where I am simultaneously managing a multitude of projects and tasks. I have extensive experience with policy development and implementation, business process engineering, program development, marketing, recruiting, social media, and customer service.
For the past 11 years, I have served as the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center (PSLC) Managing Director overseeing a 200+ person cross-university academic center with 30 to 40 active projects a year and an annual budget exceeding $10M-$12M.
At Carnegie Mellon, I have developed a reputation for leadership, integrity, collaboration, ingenuity, diligence, and a will-not-fail attitude. I was instrumental in creating and am currently managing both the Masters of Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science (METALS) program and PSLC’s corporate partners program.
